What is the meaning of green fees?
A green fee is what a visitor pays to play a round. Members pay an annual subscription instead. A green fee usually covers one round on a given day. Clubs often set different rates for weekdays, weekends and quieter times such as twilight.
What is the average green fee in the UK?
There is no single figure. It varies a lot by club and by time of play. A midweek round at a modest pay-and-play course costs far less than a weekend round at a championship venue. Most clubs charge more at peak times than at twilight. This software lets you set your own rates to match your course and your market, rather than work to anyone else's number.
Can I set visitor prices by day, time and season?
Yes. You build rate bands - for example a peak weekend rate, a standard midweek rate, a twilight rate and a winter rate. You choose the days, times and dates each one applies to. Once it is set, the correct price shows automatically wherever a green fee is sold.
Can I sell green fees online and at the counter?
Both. Visitors can book a tee time and pay online through your own website at any hour. The pro shop can ring up walk-ups and phone bookings at the counter, by card or cash. Every sale lands on the same tee sheet and the same day's takings.
Do you take a booking commission or a cut of green fees?
No. There is no booking commission and no percentage of the green fee. We charge a flat 1% plus Stripe's standard card fee, and nothing else. Whatever you set your green fee at is what you keep, less those card costs.
Can I run twilight and seasonal pricing automatically?
Yes. Set the time your twilight rate starts and it applies from that point each day. Set your winter rate and the dates it runs, and the price switches over on its own. You do not have to log in and change anything on the day.
